Self Defence Workshops

Children

ACE Taekwondo is the only martial arts academy in Mississauga that has been given exclusivity by the trustees at Peel District School Board to carry out the “Safe Kids Personal Safety Workshops” within schools. This two part workshop was created by Master Viresh Mistry back in Great Britain and the concept was accepted in Mississauga by Council Wards and their Trustees after seeing the positive impact this workshop can have on kids in creating a safer community for all. Adults

Master Viresh also conducts “a-la-carte” adult self defence classes and personal safety workshops to higher educational establishments and businesses throughout Mississauga and surrounding areas. We encourage you to contact us for more details.

Viresh Mistry is an outstanding ambassador on behalf of ACE Taekwondo. He has run two programs at our school. One was a clinic for our students which taught them not just the basics of self defense but a safety philosophy and incorporated physical fitness and motivation. Secondly, Viresh ran a professional development clinic for the staff. It was an effective way to inform and interest the staff on how his program could be used in the classroom, the gym, as a motivational assembly and a starter program for students to use self defense in an appropriate and fun way.
